Dinner/Dance Silent Auction Feb 13, 2016

$30.00 ticket price covers  a wonderful meal, which consists of roastbeef/chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, salads, buns, gravy, deserts. There will also be vegetarian and gluten free choices.There will be cash bar, entertainment, silent auction, door prizes.

Anita Eyles has  the Dinner/Dance tickets. If you would like to get some tickets please let her know and she can arrange a time for you to pick them up. We have 200 tickets.  The team has first dibs on the tickets  friends and family. The tickets that are not sold by our meeting in January will go out to the public. 50 tickets have already been given to members. This will be a wonderful fund raiser.


Run for the Cure October 4, 2015

Hello NBP,
 
As NBP's team captain for this event, I'd like to invite you to participate in CIBC's Run for the Cure to be held this year on Sunday, October 4th at 10 am.  The cost of participation is $40, or if you are willing to raise $150 the participation fee is waived. 
 
This annual event supports the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's activities, such as research, education and advocacy of initiatives (such as supporting dragon boat teams).
 
In the past few years, NBP has had a representative team of about 10 people who sign up promising to raise $150 (rather than just the $40 participant fee) with non-participating team members making donations to support these people.  This way, all the funds donated are eligible for tax receipts and as fewer people are collecting donations, we can support each other.

Bake Sale - April 18, 2015

The Fundraising Committee is planning a Bake Sale, Saturday April 18 at the Hospital Lobby from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
If you could do some baking and or come & help out that would be Awesome!
We would like your baking packaged, priced and brought to the Hospital Lobby by 9:00 am on the Saturday morning. If you are unable to bring your baking please contact me and we can make other arrangements.

Paddling clinic - June 13-14, 2015

As you are aware we are having a paddling clinic June 13-14. for those of you who weren't at the meeting on Thursday and would like to attend the clinic please let Anita Eyles know and she will add your name to the list. We have capped it at 20 members.
